ALISON'S WARM PEAR & CHOCOLATE PUDDING

INGREDIENTS:

4 pears, peeled, cored & cut into bite-sized pieces

150 grams butter, softened

125 grams sugar

30 grams cocoa powder

1½ teaspoons baking powder

2 large eggs

2 Tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat the oven to 200 degC & grease a 22cm ovenproof dish lightly with butter.

Arrange the pears evenly over the base of the dish.

Put all the remaining ingredients in a food processor & blitz (or you can do this by hand) until you have a soft consistency.

Spread the batter evenly over the pears, & bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the surface bounces back when lightly touched.
