Rocket has a strong, peppery flavour, and the leaves have a slight 'bite' to them. If you see 'rucola' or 'arugula' for sale or on a restaurant menu, it's the same thing.
Rocket does not need to be cooked. Give it a rinse, dry and it's good to go.
Use it as a salad leaf with a dressing of your choice or stir into pastas & risottos for an added kick.
Rocket makes a delicious addition to salads but can also be used to make soups and to replace basil in pesto.
What can you do with rocket?:
Rocket hummus
Beetroot, rocket & feta fritters
Put it on pizza
Rocket frittatas
Creamy spinach, tomato & rocket strozzapeti
Roasted beetroot, rocket & feta salad with mustard lemon dressing
